MAHAGONI FESTIVAL
MOTION DESIGN LINEUP REEL
FEBRUARY 2026
I had the chance to create one of the six lineup reels for Mahagoni Festival 26.

The reel focuses on the conceptual and planning phase behind organizing the festival and includes lots of little easter eggs and details that give some behind-the-scenes insight, along with visual elements from this year’s CI.
The animation features the multifunctional living module Abitacolo (1971) by Italian designer Bruno Munari. It’s filled with various work materials and objects, like an iPod playing a Mahagoni26 playlist, a hand-drawn sketch of the festival grounds, a hoodie as a merch teaser, and the final lineup poster as the main piece.

And of course, a disco ball TO add the perfect bit of sparkle.
