After A study course required us to create this diamond shader setup in reshift,
i decided to take this project a step further. to better showcase the level of detail and facets of the texture, i created this short animation clip. the vertex map animation illustrates how the stone is overtaken by the diamond and also helped me refine my 3d sills in this area. some grafic elements, as well as the use of typo and sound design, complete this project.

the shader setup and overall feel of this diamond is achieved with three different areas: the raw rock material, the spiky pink diamond, and a transition area that connects both regions and provides an organic crossing. to create this shader, i worked with various noise patterns, blended nodes together, and used masks to achieve specific effects.
